Last Day at Work and Manchester Trip

Friday we finished work at 5 and the Olympic Torch made its way to Blackpool, and was coming past the Tower at 6.15 so we decided to wait and have a look on what has to be the wettest day of the year!

Luckily first we picked up one of these free Coke Zero's



And then because of the rain sit up in McDonalds looking out waiting for the Torch to run past from the really DRY good view, unfortunately i missed the picture of it coming past, but here is where it did go!





So Saturday was my last shift at Pizza Express, it was not supposed to be and i was supposed to have one shift next week but decided it was not work coming in for one 5 hours shift, so turned out Saturday was my last shift working at Pizza Express, since i was on a double i got my last free staff meal! Of course a Pollo Pest with Dough sticks

Was a pretty Busy last shift and enjoyable with no problems, and i can't say I'm sad to leave but it has not really hit me i won't be going back to work there again!



So right now i am unemployed for the next month until i get to Disney! Though i have a lot of stuff i need to do in that time so its needed :D

So i woke up on Sunday morning thing soo got nothing to do for the next few days, but was i wrong! Vikki had planned a surprise trip to Manchester for the night, so off we went to spend my last time together in Manchester a city we love!

First Stop, a strange little Irish pub in the Printworks to enjoy this:



Then Vikki treated me to a meal at Zizzi's, since we had a taste card we had no excuses to not go all out and have a nice big meal, my Pizza turned up like this and was SO spicy but was really good, in the background you can see Vikki's pasta which was supposed to contain chicken but had none, although she didn't notice this until it was all eaten! :D



Next stop, to say goodbye to our fav place in Manchester that we have spent a lot of time in, Hard Rock Cafe, and the two perfect drinks to enjoy on our last visit here a Long Island Iced Tea and a Shirley Temple,



Going to miss this place but at least i can get the foot at Hard Rock Orlando if i really need a burger, and Disney burgers are even better anyway!!

And that was the end of the day, next day was the day of many free things we ended up with free coffee, free panini, free soda and was ended off with an amazing


So thats the end of a year working at Pizza Express and my last trip to Manchester! Still has not really hit me that I'm going away and i don't know when it will but its not long to go now!
