USA Sim Cards - Iphone

So i have an iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, and will be leaving my UK Contract and iPhone 4 in my mums hands for my year away so that leaves me with some choices to make.

Last time during the CRP program i used a crappy Go phone and sim card, this Nokia 6350

I just can't go back to using one of these limited slow phones after using my iPhone for the last 2-3 years, not to mention they do not work out cheap when topping up all the time not only to send texts but to receive them also, i remember many days of no credit and not being able to text or call so i have started looking into my options for this time, basically non contract options i have found are:

Now I'm not too sure i will enjoy 2G only speed which leaves me with the first 3 choices, and i think i will be unlocking my iPhone 4S and going for the Straight Talk option, possibly with international calling as well as i will need too call the UK and Canada at times. As well as these there are options of going with T-Mobile but is unable to get 3G on the iPhone or ATT as well, which is expensive and for less data or non as i have read. So i think my number 1 choice for my year will be Choice 1.
