So i arrived in Florida on July 17th and had a enjoyable flight, long and boring of course but nothing bad happened which was good!
Getting through Immigration was so easy, i was talking to the guy for roughly 2 minutes before he let me in, the only thing he asked me was if i went to School still! So that was a lot easier than last time where i got taken of to a little room and asked a million questions and missed my connecting flight.
After arriving i was greeting and given a alumni badge, and everyone seemed excited that i had some back which was cool and then i was told i would be living in Patterson Court, the newest of the housing Complexes, which i was really happy with as i did not want to be in Vista! I was the first person out of the people to arrive so choose the biggest bedroom and room i could and then it was off to Walmart to get the essentials!
Here is my room
My roommate is Adam from UCLAN, so thats good even though we didn't go Walmart together we both ended up buying the same bed sheets! I also live with two guys from India, one from Romania and one from Mexico, all are pretty awesome guys. Im in building 4.
The first few days of training were really early starts every day but early finishes so every afternoon i spent at the Pool, or Downtown Disney, i went to see The Dark Knight Rises which was amazing and needs another watch! After Housing, Education and Immigration talks it was time for traditions!
Last time i was here i had to do a full day of traditions but this time it was only 8-12.30, and included a walk around the Magic Kingdom, the first 30 minutes could be the most boring time of my life and half the class was asleep but it ended with getting this and i am officially a cast member again!
My work location for the first 3 months is the Sunset Ranch Market, right by Tower of Terror at Hollywood studios, and as of yesterday the 31st July i have officially earned my ears and completed training even though i don't really know what im doing half the time haha, its been fun and most of the people seem really friendly and helpful and are from all over the world. My location consists of working in 7 difference places so it can be quite varied and not just doing the same place and thing all day long which is good.
My costume though..... is horrid haha but funny.
And thats pretty much it work related so far! Im going to try and keep this updated now more often and not get so far behind so i forget what ive done, but hopefully il get a little more time now things start becoming normal.
As for non work i have:
Bought a macbook air and sat in Panera Bread
Watched Main Street Electrical Parade
Relaxed at the pool
Eaten lots of Goldfish!
Eaten free cheese danish from Starring Rolls!
Been randomly given fast passes by a cast member to go on any ride!
Got my highest Score ever on Toy Story Mania
Eaten Pizza Hut Pasta! mm
Made friends with a duck at Beach Club!
Seen a crazy bird!
And this is just the first two weeks! I do have more pictures on my Camera but i can't get them off until i get my SD reader tomorrow! So until then, see ya real soon!
